Anthony Almonte

Anthony is a Principal at Avid with approximately 30-years experience in the field of electrical design and construction. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for the design of countless facilities in virtually every market segment, and/or project type. As Principal, Anthony works to ensure the expectations of all project stakeholders are met while offering design solutions commensurate with project needs. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Bentley University. At Avid, the most rewarding aspect of his position is the opportunity to mentor young engineers and project managers. Anthony takes great pride in working to foster a culture of responsive, considerate engineering, and holds the distinctive responsibility of researching and publishing the "Avid Quote of the Week." Away from the office, Anthony enjoys following the four Boston sports teams, and spending time with his wife, two children and dog, Jax. An avid collector of music, Anthony continually tries to find time to digitize his collection of over 800 albums, cassettes and CD’s, while waiting for the next Pearl Jam tour.

Robert is a founding Principal with Avid Engineers. The grandson of a union pipe fitter, he was born and raised in metro-Boston, and spent the better part of his life surrounded by a family filled with mechanical contractors and entrepreneurs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was a proud college football player and Golden Glove champion. He has traveled the world, leading massive engineering efforts in China, Saudi Arabia, Russia and South Korea, but more than anything else, he likes people. He was built to be a leader and aspires to do it well – whether while coaching, running the business or leading a project. He values teamwork, honesty, family and friendship, and intends to use those priorities to grow Avid into one of the area’s finest firms.

Chris Chamberland

Chris has over 14 years of experience in the commercial MEP/FP design field. A graduate of Villanova University, he oversees a wide variety of projects, from office fit-out to ISO 8 cleanroom design. As a senior Mechanical Engineer, Chris works closely with the team to ensure quality control on all projects. He is skilled at building code review, overseeing challenging project goals and executing sophisticated design. Chris enjoys playing hockey, spending time with his wife and their dog, as well as traveling to the Caribbean.

Josue Cisneros is a senior project manager with over 15 years’ experience in the building system evaluation, design, and construction field. Josue began his working with Avid in 2006, and is currently responsible for the daily operation of the company, overseeing project management and construction administration on significant projects. Josue’s strengths include his dedication to client service, overcoming challenging project goals, leadership, and attention to detail. In his free time, Josue loves spending time with his family. You might find him cheering at his son’s soccer games or daughter’s karate tournaments. He also enjoys traveling, camping, and rooting for his favorite basketball & soccer teams.

Mark Amico is a Principal with Avid Engineers. With over 25 years of experience, Mark has proven his leadership abilities through his management of complex design projects and dedication to reaching client goals. He is a seasoned project manager across various sectors, including commercial, academic, hospitality, healthcare, and laboratory. His exceptional interpersonal skills lead to seamless communication with his team and positive project outcomes. Beyond spending time with family and friends, Mark and his wife Beth enjoy traveling (their favorite spot being St. John, USVI), spending summer outdoors biking, hiking, and on the water (whether in the ocean or the fresh waters of Lake Winnipesaukee). In the winter, Mark enjoys skiing Mad River Glenn in Vermont, and his yearly excursion out West for a week. In his down time, Mark enjoys working on home construction projects.

Kevin Goulart has several years of experience within the construction industry. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a Concentration in Design and Research from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Always eager to learn, Kevin completed internships in the construction management field, along with another in state of Wyoming - working with architects, engineers and facilities managers during the planning and construction phases of a new state-of-the-art college campus. In a previous role as a project coordinator for a mechanical contracting company, Kevin was responsible for modeling and coordinating mechanical systems in Revit and Navisworks. During his time with Avid, Kevin has worked on a variety of projects including, retail, restaurant, residential, manufacturing facilities, and laboratories. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and challenging himself to learn new skills.

In her previous role as a Senior Property Manager, she was responsible for overseeing all day-to-day building operations, capital, and tenant improvement projects for 1M square feet of commercial office space in the Greater Boston Metro West Suburbs and several residential projects. She has strong expertise in client relations and construction management. Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her son at baseball and football games, home renovations, DIY projects and landscaping.

Lindsey joined the Avid team in 2020 as the office manager. Before joining the team, Lindsey was with JLL as a Property Associate. Lindsey is a graduate from University of Massachusetts Boston with double majors in Sociology & Psychology. As a multitasker, Lindsey has many roles as the office manager which include marketing, accounting, and human resources. Outside of the office, Lindsey enjoys being outside, mostly in the summer and playing yard games. Lindsey likes a lot of things about summertime, trips to New Hampshire to Lake Winnepesaukee with her friends, spending time with her family at bbq’s, and going to the beach.

When Sara is out of office, she enjoys going for walks, listening to Taylor Swift, spending time with family in Vermont, and visiting her favorite restaurants in the North End for pasta whenever possible.

As Office Coordinator, she supports our marketing, business development, and project management efforts. Christina graduated from UMass Lowell with a BA in History and has stayed in Lowell ever since. She is passionate about the old mill city, making it a point to try new restaurants, visit new art galleries and installations, and support friends in their artistic and entrepreneurial endeavors. Christina enjoys hiking with her dog Georgie, writing comedy and poetry, and cooking.

Claudette is an avid motorcycle enthusiast, she has been riding for over 20 years and helps support motorcycle benefit rides for charity.

Lastone left the Republic of Congo when he was 17 years old to pursue his education in the US and became the first in his family to obtain a bachelor's degree. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and started working at Avid Engineers in 2021. He is eager to learn as much as possible while working as an Electrical Engineer here at Avid. His long-term goal is to use his expertise as an Engineer and experiences to contribute to the development of Congo and other African nations.

Andrew has immersed himself in the engineering consulting industry immediately after graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology. As an electrical engineer, he has been involved with designing electrical distribution systems for ground up multi-tenant commercial retail and restaurant environments, laboratories, and medical office buildings. He has experience working with Landlords - renovating spaces for future tenant fit-outs, as well as completing tenant fit-outs throughout the New England region. With these projects, he has gained valuable experience in coordinating with local utility companies, fire marshals, architects, and owners. Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors – kayaking along the Charles River, or enjoying the summer weather in Cape Cod.

Christopher is a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology and has been an Electrical Engineer for 5 years. He has been with Avid for more than three. As an Electrical Engineer Christopher has worked on a large range of projects, from commercial tenant fit-outs to high-rise residential buildings. Christopher has a passion for working with lighting controls systems, with particular experience working with a variety of lighting controls including tunable white and color changing control systems. Christopher likes to spend his time away from the office building models and working at local conventions.

With Jeff’s vast experience in consulting engineering and contracting, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the successful completion of a project. Jeff’s comprehensive experience in fire protection, fire alarm, code consulting, special hazards, water supply analysis, and hazard analysis guide the company’s expertise in the complex field of fire protection engineering. Jeff’s hands-on approach to solving modern-day challenges in the evolving field of fire protection is the basis for how Avid Engineers continues to exceed our Client’s expectations. Jeff enjoys working closely with the team of Avid’s Fire Protection Engineers to develop the solutions necessary to successfully complete each project. Away from the office, Jeff spends much of his time either coaching his kids in various sports or attending their games. Jeff has also traveled cross-country multiple times in his camper with his family seeing many of the country’s National Parks.

Vasco enjoys spending his personal time with his family and enjoys being involved in Portuguese/American cultural traditions and enjoys spending time in active sports such as soccer, hockey, volleyball & golf.

Jack launched his career in the MEP-FP industry in 2017, after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jack’s experience in the industry consists of HVAC and Process Engineering, as well as Project Management. Jack’s experience designing HVAC and Process Systems extends to a large variety of projects, such as clean room manufacturing, health care facilities, data centers, biosafety labs, office fit outs, and everything in-between. His passion to solve problems and continuously improve ensures the consistent delivery of a quality product. While managing projects, he thoroughly enjoys being a team player, and has a natural talent of maintaining a light-hearted approach even in the most difficult circumstances. Driven to continue to learn and grow within industry, and with the belief that anything is possible, Jack sees no ceiling to his potential. Outside of the day to day, Jack is a fitness enthusiast, and in his free time he enjoys lifting weights and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Being of Lebanese decent, Jack travels back home to Lebanon yearly to visit family and enjoy the natural beauty the country has to offer.

Niall's experience covers all aspects of MEP-FP design including retail, industrial, commercial and residential projects. Niall is responsible for liaising and consulting with clients and local authorities, and ensures keeping close relationships with clients and design teams large and small. Niall is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys attending local sporting events as well as being involved in local soccer leagues in the Boston area. Niall also enjoys traveling having lived and worked in both Ireland and Sydney, Australia.

He previously interned with a Civil Engineer in Vallejo, CA helping to calculate Main Wind Force Resisting Systems, redesign entrances and paths to be ADA compliant, and drafting the odd site plan here and there. Joey spent seven years in the Marine Corps reserve in San Diego, CA where he was able to participate in the successful integrate of female recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA. Joey enjoys trying new restaurants with his fiancé, getting lost in videogames, working out, and hiking with his dog.

Madison is a CAD Technician here at Avid Engineers. She started working for Avid as a senior co-op at Greater Lowell Technical High school. Since graduation in June 2021, she has been a full-time employee. She is eager to learn more about the Mechanical industry at Avid. Outside of the office Madison enjoys working out as well as watching various Netflix documentaries and shows. She also takes pride in volunteering for Disability Gymnastics and is certified in American Sign Language. During her time in high school, she worked with a volunteer group called eNABLE at the University of Massachusetts - Lowell as a prosthetics manufacturer by creating and donating 3D printed assistive devices to those in need. Madison takes great pride in her work and will continue to volunteer and help people in need.
