BAE Systems PLC is a British multinational defense, security, and aerospace company. Avid Engineers provided the MEP-FP design for a 10,000-SF renovation of BAE System’s facility in Lexington, MA.

The project entailed the selective demolition of existing systems to provide a space for a new lab. The project included the addition of two new packaged rooftop units and associated VAV terminal boxes to serve both the office and the laboratory space, a new fume hood and exhaust system, and humidification control for the laboratory space. The new work also included the addition of necessary process piping for nitrogen, compressed dry air, and vacuum.
