Our story.
Avid Engineers was co-founded by Robert MacCormack, PE, LEED AP and Anthony Almonte, PE, LEED AP.
The grandson of a union pipe fitter, Robert spent the better part of his life surrounded by a family filled with mechanical contractors and entrepreneurs and developed integrity and a strong work ethic from an early age. This inspired Robert to study within the field of Mechanical Engineering and dive straight into the industry upon graduating. Anthony, backed with impressive experience in both Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, brought forth expertise in those divisions. With their combined skillset, Robert and Anthony became an unstoppable pair; prioritizing hard work, great results, and an undeniable sense of community – and with that, Avid Engineers was born in the Summer of 2006.
Robert and Anthony started Avid to connect with people, empower businesses, and design complex engineering solutions that allow companies to reach their goals. Together with their teams, Robert and Anthony have paved the way for Avid Engineers to be a leading MEP-FP Engineering firm in the region.
