Johnson & Wales University is a private career-oriented university with its main campus in Providence, Rhode Island.

The university created a project that included the renovation of approximately 3,700-SF of existing space on the first floor of the Friedman Center, located on their main campus in Providence, RI. The project entails creating a finished product of an entrance zone, a conceptualization zone and a tasting/marketing/ideation zone, a food science lab and a culinary zone. Avid Engineers was responsible for providing the new design of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems in place at the site.
