The Naval War College is the staff college and “Home of Thought” for the United States Navy at Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island. Avid Engineers has worked on many projects for the Naval War College on their main campus in Newport, RI. These projects ranged from electrical services and upgrades and rooftop unit upgrades and replacements to complete renovations of the on-campus facilities.

One such renovation entailed a renovation of a portion of an existing warehouse building to construct a new museum storage area as well as associated support spaces. The scope consisted of interior improvements to the building. The design effort included reconfiguration of electrical distribution equipment as well as specific review and consideration of HVAC criteria for the museum storage area.
