Northeastern University is a private research university in Boston, Massachusetts, established in 1898. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs on its main campus in Boston. Avid Engineers has developed a close relationship with the in-house design group at Northeastern University and has become one of Northeastern’s most trusted partners. Having worked on the design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for multiple projects on the university’s campus, Avid has been involved in numerous buildings, including Cullinane Hall and Columbus Place.

Northeastern NU 303-305 Ryder Hall Renovations

The scope of work consisted of renovations to approximately 1,300-SF in Rooms 303-305, located in Northeastern’s Ryder Hall. These renovations included MEP/FP/FA design and engineering for a new Print and Media Center, as well as Demolition of the existing A/V System to accomodate a new A/V System.

Northeastern Meserve Hall Game Studio

The goal of these renovations was to accommodate a small game studio that serves the purpose of housing game design students and the game equipment required by the program.

Northeastern University Ryder Hall Music Office Renovation

The scope of work for this project consisted of renovations to Northeastern University Ryder Hall’s Music Office of approximately 810-SF. Avid provided Design Phase Services as well as Bidding & Construction Administration.
