Boston University is a private research institution offering advanced degrees through 18 schools on two urban campuses.

Avid has partnered with BU on a number of occasions, completing building and system assessments, laboratory designs, code analysis studies, cleanroom design and office renovations through out the city. Specific designs include renovations to the BU School of Medicine’s sleep lab, which took special consideration to create comfortable, noise deficient environments for test subjects, new physics labs to accommodate research and development space for relocated faculty, and code reviews related to work in the Photonics Center.
