One of the worlds most renowned Ivy League Universities, Harvard University is a private research university located in Cambridge, MA with 6,800 undergraduate students and about 14,000 post graduate students.

Throughout the last 15 years, Avid Engineers has worked on multiple projects throughout the university. These projects include new laboratory spaces, upgrades to residential, on-campus, housing, historically preserved sites, and other spaces that are crucial to student’s and professor’s research. Some of these specific project highlights are a temperature and humidity-sensitive micro lab and new incubator space for Harvard’s quantum computing start-ups, which is located on Soldier’s Field Road in Brighton.

Harvard Health Services

Avid Engineers was involved in a project for Harvard University’s Health Services building. The scope of work consisted of renovations to the space, including renovating sinks and adding an eyewash station.

Harvard University 28 Travis Street Generator Study

Avid Engineers was involved in an Electrical / Standby Generator Due Diligence Study for Harvard University to address standby generator concerns and assist in fixing these concerns for the university.

Harvard University MicroLab

Avid Engineers provided Construction Documents and Dehumidification Capabilities to the existing HVAC System for the Harvard University MicroLab.
