PFIZER’s Andover home contains state-of-the-art R&D facilities, combined with flexible multi-product manufacturing. Avid Engineers was engaged to evaluate the condition of Pfizer’s various server rooms, and, on acceptance, to implement those improvements to secure the reliability of Pfizer’s mission critical operations. Avid provided complete MEP-FP services from programming through construction administration. Improvements included the implementation of power distribution equipment, uninterruptible power supplies, and both pre-action fire protection and clean agent fire suppression systems serving multiple, server rooms throughout multiple buildings in Pfizer’s Andover campus.
