Avid Engineers has been involved in a handful of projects for Vertex in their Providence, RI location as well as their Boston, MA location. These efforts have included a multitude of lab-specific projects as well as Tenant Improvement projects.
The lab projects have included a Plasma Etch Lab in Providence, RI; the Providence Commercial Lab Equipment in Providence, RI; the R&D Lab in Providence, RI; and a Warehouse & Lab in Providence, RI.
Avid was also involved in a renovation and Tenant Improvement effort for Vertex’s Conference Rooms and a portion of their Office Space.
One of Avid Engineers’ projects for Vertex was their Plasma Etch Lab; located at the Providence, RI location. The scope of work for this project consisted of the assessment and design of lab modifications as required to accommodate the Plasma Etch Lab.
Another one of Avid Engineers’ projects for Vertex was the Carolina Ave Commercial Lab; located at the Providence, RI location. The scope of work for this project consisted of the assessment and design of HVAC Systems for a Laboratory Space. The scope of work spanned from the Basement level to the First Floor level.
Avid Engineers was also involved in an R&D Lab Project for Vertex; located at their Providence, RI location. Specifically, the scope of work consisted of the conversion of [2] spaces, totaling approximately 1,500-SF to accommodate for R&D Lab Spaces.
Avid Engineers was involved in a Warehouse & Lab project for Vertex at their Providence, RI location. Specifically, the scope of work consisted of renovations to an existing space to accommodate 8,314-SF of Warehouse / Lab / Office space.
Additionally, Avid Engineers was involved in a renovation project at 225 Carolina Avenue in Providence, RI. The scope of work consisted of renovations to [1] SVP Office of 305-SF, [2] 8-person Conference Rooms, and [1] 10-person Conference Room. Avid Engineers provided Existing Conditions Documentation, Construction Documents, Telecommunications / Wiring Design, and Construction Administration.
